Cookie Policy

Last updated: April 15, 2026

This Cookie Policy explains what cookies and similar technologies Dacard, Inc. ("Dacard", "we", "us") uses on dacard.ai and app.dacard.ai (the "Service"), why we use them, and how you can control them. Read it alongside our Privacy Policy.

What cookies are

Cookies are small text files a website places on your device. Similar technologies include localStorage, sessionStorage, and pixels. We use the word "cookies" throughout to cover all of them.

Categories we use

We group cookies into four categories.

  • Strictly necessary. Required for the Service to function. These keep you signed in, keep your billing session valid, and help prevent fraud. You cannot disable these and use the Service.
  • Preferences. Remember choices you have made, such as your cookie consent selection.
  • Analytics. Help us understand how people use the Service so we can improve it. Only set after you accept analytics cookies in the banner.
  • Error tracking. Help us diagnose bugs and crashes. Only set after you accept analytics cookies in the banner.

How to control cookies

When you first visit Dacard, a banner lets you accept or decline analytics and error-tracking cookies. You can change your choice anytime by clearing dacard_analytics_consent from your browser storage. The banner will reappear on your next visit.

Most browsers also let you block or delete cookies through their settings. Blocking strictly necessary cookies will break sign-in, checkout, and other core features.

Do Not Track (DNT) signals and Global Privacy Control (GPC) signals are respected: if your browser sends GPC, we treat it as a request to opt out of analytics and error-tracking cookies.

Third-party cookies

Clerk, Stripe, PostHog, and Sentry set cookies on our behalf to deliver their services. Their use of data is governed by their own privacy and cookie policies. We list each provider in the table above.

Changes to this policy

We may update this Cookie Policy. The "Last updated" date at the top reflects the current version. If we make material changes, we will notify you in-product or by email where appropriate.
